The Wellington Association will host the New Zealand Huntington’s Conference during the weekend of 15 -16 October 2005 at the Wellington Convention Centre.  As usual the Conference will provide an opportunity for those with Huntington’s Disease, their families, care-givers and professionals to share information on the latest research and clinical care for those who are affected by Huntington’s Disease.

Well-known researchers and clinicians from both New Zealand and overseas will present papers at the Conference. Among these are Dr Jane Paulsen, Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology, Psychology and Neurosciences at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, USA;  Dr Peggy Shelbourne, Lecturer in Genetics, University of Glasgow, UK; and,  Professor Richard Faull, Department of Anatomy, University of Auckland.

We are confident that this will be a very exciting and stimulating Conference so mark
