A little bit about what we do.

We provide services throughout a vast area - extending from New Plymouth across to Gisborne and all regions south to Wellington. We also assist in the Nelson area as well. We are very lucky to have 3 qualified, skilled and dedicated Nurse Advisors undertaking this work.

Our Nurse Advisors provide support, assistance and advice to our many clients and families, as they confront and navigate a life with Huntingtons. Our Nurse Advisors are highly resourceful, creative and committed to providing the best support they can in so many diverse ways.

We believe the quality of care we provide to our families reflects the very high level of service our Nurse Advisors offer.

We work closely with many other health professionals and cover 9 DHBs which all have different criteria and systems. We work closely with a number of hospice as well as many care facilities providing training for their staff on the complex nature of caring for someone with Huntington’s.

And yet we wish we had the funding to do more!
